Skilled Van Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and time critical delivery of Class 7 Radiopharmaceutical Containers to hospitals throughout the UK.
We are recruiting in Cheshire, Staffordshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire & London (Central & Surrounding Areas).
This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, as well as effective communication skills to liaise with customers and hospital staff.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a van for the delivery of time critical Class 7 Radiopharmaceutical Containers to UK hospitals.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues or delays promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any client inquiries or concerns.
- Perform basic mechanical checks on the vehicle as needed.
- Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Class 7 ADR Packaging and Radioactive Licence required, but training is available for the right candidate.

- £25,400.00 per year
